IMPALED Cover Model Lands FANGORIA Spokesmodel Position

April 30, 2008

Oakland, California-based extreme metallers IMPALED have issued the following update:

"Congratulations are in order for Shannon Lark, the lovely lady who we made look like utter crap for the cover of our last record, 'The Last Gasp'. Shannon has just won the Fangoria spokesmodel position at the last Weekend of Horrors in Los Angeles! She'll be their spokesmodel for a year, going to all the conventions and breaking some hearts, we're sure... then she'll eat those hearts, because she's fucking sick.

"While congrats are in order to Shannon, thanks are in order to IMPALED. We're 100% certain that being on the cover of 'The Last Gasp' was the final catapult she needed towards stardom. Her work with the Living Dead Girls and the Chainsaw Mafia and movies and videos and film fests was just a build-up to work with IMPALED. After all, working with IMPALED is always a pleasure and leads to nothing but golden fucking rainbows and gobs of cash."
